STEP BY STEP GUIDE

1. You can choose from more than 10 universities, but there is a limit of 25 programs in total. For example, you can select multiple faculties at Islamic University of Madinah and then add programs from other universities.

2. Required documents

Note: Ensure ALL documents are submitted in top-notch quality. A poor-quality photo will lead to an immediate rejection, no matter how strong your application is).

a). Passport (main page) – no translation needed

b). Personal photo with a white background. For women, the face must be visible.

c). High school diploma or a certificate from a college/university, along with a translation into Arabic.

d). Transcript of grades, also translated into Arabic.

e). Certificate of No Criminal Record along with a translation into Arabic.

3. List of Optional Documents:

While these aren’t mandatory for your application, submitting them can strengthen your case. It’s a smart move to include them from the beginning to make sure your document package is complete. This is particularly important for the tazkiyya and Qur'an/Arabic certificates if you’re applying to the Islamic faculty, as they can help you stand out among other applicants.

  1. Medical Report along with a translation into Arabic:
  2. Recommendation Letters: If you’re applying for Islamic studies, these should come from Islamic figures like imams or graduates from Saudi institutions. For scientific faculties, letters should be from your school or university. It’s also helpful to include Arabic translations of these letters.
  3. CV: A well-prepared CV is essential, and including a translation into Arabic is preferred. Its content should be tailored to the program the applicant is applying for: for Islamic Studies, it should include achievements in the Islamic field, while for scientific faculties, it should highlight relevant academic or practical accomplishments in that area. Additionally, it is recommended to mention any volunteer work related to the chosen field.

Other Documents: This can include certificates for achievements such as Quran memorization (even if it's just a few ajza) or Arabic language certificates if you’re applying for Islamic studies. Basically, attach anything in this section that will help you stand out among applicants.

Note: If you’ve converted to Islam, it’s a good idea to include your certificate of conversion when applying for Islamic studies. You can add this in the “Other”

section.

4. Editing your application You can modify your application as many times as you want until May 21. After that, your application number should be issued and no further changes will be possible.

5. Programs are added continuously they may appear during the application period. For example, if Islamic programs are not currently available at Umm Al-Qura University, they may be added later.
