Jamia Mosque opens applications for 2026 Scholarship Programme

The scholarship programme is applicable to students joining Grade 10.

The Jamia Mosque Committee has opened applications for its 2016 scholarship programme.

The scholarship programme is applicable to students joining Grade 10.

Eligible applicants must have sat the 2025 Kenya Junior School Education Assessment (KJSEA) and obtained at least a Meeting Expectations I (ME-I) grade or above. They must also be orphans or from families with extreme financial need, and must have been admitted to Grade 10 in a public school.

Bursary application forms are available at the Jamia Mosque Library or can alternatively be downloaded through the web portal: www.jamiamosque.co.ke/bursary.

In addition, the application documents must be accompanied with a copy of the KJSEA results slip, copy of the grade 10 admission letter, a copy of the parents’ ID or death certificate as well as a hand written application letter by the student.

“The sponsorship will benefit the successful applicants through Grades 10,11,12 on the basis of the student’s academic performance and disciplinary record. Furthermore, successful grade 12 gradu­ates from this group will also be eligible to receive upon application, partial University funding from Jamia Mosque’s Education Committee,” said a statement from the Committee.

Applications must be received within two weeks after the first selection process.
