Park Road Mosque to host boys’ holiday programme

Park Road Mosque in Ngara area, Nairobi will host a five-day holiday programme for boys aimed at nurturing Islamic values and strengthening faith among young people.
The initiative is a joint effort between the Park Road Youth Group and Al Ameen Mosque. It seeks to provide a supportive and engaging environment where participants can deepen their understanding of Islam while developing discipline and positive character.
Running from April 13 to April 17, the programme is themed “Studying the Fundamentals of Deen” and is open to boys aged between 12 and 18 years. Organisers say the holiday initiative is designed to help young learners make meaningful use of their school break through faith-based education and personal development.
Participants will take part in a variety of activities, including lectures, sports, and mentorship sessions. These activities are structured to promote both spiritual growth and social interaction in a balanced setting.
Key topics to be covered include Aqeeda (Islamic creed), proper performance of Salah, and discussions on character development, particularly addressing challenges faced by young people in today’s society.
The programme offers a valuable opportunity for boys to grow in knowledge, strengthen their faith, and build discipline under the guidance of experienced mentors.
