HASS Petroleum launches 2026 graduate trainee recruitment programme

HASS Petroleum is inviting applications for its 2026 Graduate Trainee Programme targeting young graduates seeking to build careers in the energy sector.
The programme forms part of the company’s long-term talent development strategy and aims to equip graduates with practical skills, industry exposure, and professional experience needed to become future leaders within the Group.
Successful applicants will benefit from structured training, mentorship, and regional exposure offering hands-on experience, structured learning, guided development, and mentorship across key business functions.
The programme is open across HASS Petroleum operations in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Zambia, Democratic Republic of Congo, South Sudan, and Somalia.
The trainee programme is great opportunity for fresh graduates interested in the energy sector and selected trainees will benefit from rotational assignments across key business functions, on-the-job learning supported by experienced professionals, mentorship and coaching as well as exposure to regional operations and diverse markets.
“What makes this program different is its scale and depth. It is regional, rotational and immersive, designed to build capability through real work, real responsibility and close mentorship from experienced leader,” said a statement from the company.
Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with at least an Upper Second Class Honours or equivalent qualification. Students awaiting graduation are also eligible to apply. Candidates must have attained a minimum grade of B or equivalent at secondary school level and be aged 25 years or below.
