Turkiye scholarships for international students to open January 10

The application portal for Türkiye Scholarships for students seeking to pursue university education will open on Saturday, January 10, 2026.

Türkiye Bursları is Turkey’s flagship international scholarship programme, offering complete financial support to international students who want to pursue higher education in Turkey

The scholarship is a government-funded, competitive program, awarded to outstanding students and researchers to pursue full-time or short-term program at the top universities in Türkiye.

Türkiye Scholarships aims to build a network of future leaders committed to strengthening cooperation among countries and mutual understanding among societies.

The scholarship offers a broad selection of Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD programs across top public universities in Turkey. At the Bachelor’s level, students can apply for highly in-demand fields such as engineering, medicine, business administration, social sciences, computer science, international relations, architecture, and related disciplines.

For Master’s applicants, the scholarship supports advanced study in STEM fields, data science and artificial intelligence, economics, political science, public policy, environmental sciences, education, and humanities. PhD candidates can pursue research-focused doctoral programs spanning science, technology, health sciences, social sciences, and interdisciplinary research areas.

The scholarship is inclusive of financial support, tuition fee, accommodation and health insurance and it also provides university placement and academic, social and cultural facilities to its awardees at all levels of higher education.

The application window closes on February 20, 2026, after which no submissions are accepted.
