Sheikh Jamaludin in Burundi for Da’wah tour
The Sheikh will deliver a series of speaking engagements at mosques and Islamic community centres with the highlight of his visit delivering the Friday khutbah (sermon) at Asiatique-Masjid Saqaf Islamiya in the capital, Bujumbura.

The Imam of Jamia Mosque, Nairobi, Sheikh Jamaludin Osman, is in Burundi for a four-day lecture tour of the country.
The Sheikh will deliver a series of speaking engagements at mosques and Islamic community centres across the country, with the highlight of his visit being the Friday khutbah (sermon) at Asiatique-Masjid Saqaf Islamiya in the capital, Bujumbura.
During his tour, he will be accompanied by Burundian scholars Sheikh Zuberi Bizimana and Sheikh Saidi Baba Idi.
His tour will kick off on Thursday with a women's session and a lecture at Masjid Jamia in Buyenzi, the Muslim-populated suburb of Bujumbura.
On Friday he is scheduled to deliver lectures at Masjid Muadh ibn Jabaal and Masjid Nuur while on Saturday, the Imam will have a session at Masjid al Hikma (Gogos).
The following day, Sheikh Jamaludin will be the key speaker at the Islamic symposium at the Asiatique centre and his tour of the country will culminate with a lecture at Masjid Istiqamah, Asiatique.
Sheikh Jamaludin has been involved in lecture tours around the country and in various countries including the United Kingdom, Tanzania and Zanzibar. The programmes aims at expounding Islamic teachings as well as cultivating working relationships with scholars, individuals and organisations involved in Islamic propagation.
