Over, 230k raised for Gaza in Bao Kibao tournament
The event is part of several initiatives in the country aimed at alleviating the suffering of the people of Gaza

More than 230,000 was raised during the third edition of the Bao Kibao football tournament held to raise funds for the people of Gaza, Palestine.
The sporting event held at the Sir Ali Muslim Club, Nairobi at the weekend, saw a participation of 22 teams from different parts of Nairobi.
The seven-aside tournament saw Quality Accessories emerging the winning team in the senior category while Park Road Juniors were crowned the winners in the under-15 category.
Beyond the football activities, the event featured talks about the plight of Palestinians particularly those in Gaza who have endured a two-year genocidal killing by the Israeli entity, boycott information, brain-teasing Islamic quizzes, sale of Palestinian merchandise and food stalls.

Proceeds raised from the event will go towards supporting urgent relief programmes in Gaza.
