In a statement released on Tuesday, April 21, the mosque, based near Juja Road Estate, stressed that taking the necessary safety measures is an essential part of fulfilling one’s responsibilities. “While it is true that Muslims put their trust in Allah’s protection, it is equally important to take practical precautions and not deliberately put oneself in harm’s way,” the statement said.

The mosque called for the prioritization of safety and reducing the risk of getting caught up in potential disturbances, advising the public to minimize unnecessary movements, especially in areas that are considered hotspots or are directly affected by the planned protests.

Additionally, the mosque adviced against sharing unverified information that could cause panic or unnecessary anxiety, emphasizing the importance of confirming the authenticity of any information before disseminating it further.that it is crucial to verify the authenticity of information before spreading it further.

“It is always advisable to stay informed about the situation, follow any official instructions or guidelines, and prioritize your well-being and the safety of those around you,” the advisory further stated.
