A food manufacturing company in Athi River is seeking a highly organized and results-driven Production Supervisor to oversee daily production operations and ensure quality, safety, and efficiency standards are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily food production operations and staff activities
  • Ensure production targets and quality standards are achieved
  • Monitor hygiene, sanitation, and food safety compliance
  • Enforce workplace health and safety procedures
  • Coordinate machine operations, maintenance, and downtime reporting
  • Train, guide, and evaluate production employees
  • Maintain accurate production and inventory records
  • Work closely with quality assurance and management teams to improve efficiency

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Food Science, Production Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field
  • 2–3 years’ supervisory experience in a food manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and GMP/HACCP practices
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Computer literacy and report-writing skills
  • Experience with automated production systems is an added advantage
