President Ruto sends Ramadhan message of goodwill to Muslims
The President underscored the importance of fasting, noting that it plays a vital role in fostering unity, strengthening communities, and promoting self-discipline.

President William Ruto has conveyed a goodwill message to Muslims in Kenya and around the world as they begin the holy month of Ramadhan.
In a recorded address released from State House on Wednesday, February 18, the Head of State called for sacrifice, compassion, and renewed national purpose during the sacred period.
“Ramadhan embodies faith, compassion, and sacrifice—values that strengthen not only individual character but also the bonds that unite humanity,” he said.
In the spirit of the holy month, President Ruto urged the faithful to remember the nation in their prayers as Kenya continues on its path of progress and development.
The President underscored the importance of fasting, noting that it plays a vital role in fostering unity, strengthening communities, and promoting self-discipline.
“Together, with mutual respect, solidarity, and a shared commitment to the common good, we will continue on our journey toward a prosperous Kenya,” he added.
He concluded by wishing Muslims a spiritually fulfilling month.
“May this blessed month bring spiritual growth and abundant blessings to every Muslim family,” he said.
In support of the Muslim community, the government recently approved the duty-free importation of dates to ease observance of Ramadhan.
