Free entry to National Parks on Saturday Sept 27
The free entry is to mark the United Nations World Tourism Day.

Kenyans will have an opportunity to visit all national parks, game reserves, and sanctuaries at no cost on Saturday, September 27.
The Tourism Cabinet Secretary Rebecca Miano said the free entry is to mark the United Nations World Tourism Day.
"To honour this significant occasion, I am thrilled to announce that the Government of Kenya is offering free entry to all Kenyan citizens to visit Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS)-managed national parks, reserves, and sanctuaries," she said.
The CS emphasized that the free park entry presents Kenyans an opportunity to appreciate the country’s rich biodiversity and reconnect with the wildlife heritage as well as deepen their collective commitment to conservation.
"We invite all Kenyans to take advantage of this opportunity to explore, learn, and celebrate the wonders of our parks, reserves, and sanctuaries, which are not just Kenya's pride but the world's heritage," she added.
The United Nations World Tourism Day is celebrated annually on September 27, and this year it will be marked under the theme ‘Tourism and Sustainable Transformation.’
The guidelines on free entry are available through the website www.kws.go.ke, KWS social media platforms, or through calling the KWS toll-free number 0800597000. Enquiries can also be made through its WhatsApp customer number, 0726610509. Additionally, Kenyans can also reach out to the wildlife service's toll-free number at 0800597000.
The United Nations World Tourism Day was established in 1980 to inform the global community about the significance of tourism for social and economic impact.
